This site is about my ideas, thoughts and portfolio of work on Knowledge Management
- an area I have worked in, in one way or another, for
around 25 years.
Most practitioners agree that the term "Knowledge Management" is misleading. Even if it were possible to manage knowledge, Knowledge Management would be so much than that.
For me, KM ranges from aspirational visions of transformational change to controlled vocabularies for tagging documents in SharePoint Libraries: and everything in between.
And so the successful application of KM in organizations requires vision, insight and a good dose of pragmatism to ensure things happen!
That's what makes it forever fascinating and challenging.
This site is primarily a blog where I muse about KM.
